THE VIRTUAL FRONTIER: LET'S GET YOU READY?

Dear Friends,

I sincerely hope this outreach finds you and yours safe, and well. How could any of us have imagined the power of that single wish – “I hope you’re well.”

By way of background, for the last 20+ years, I’ve been privileged to represent organizations and job seekers identify the sweet spot between an employer’s needs and a candidate’s best expression of his/her talents and skills. Watching these special partnerships take root, flourish and evolve, continues to be the most rewarding part of my job.

Enter Covid-19.

Our new virtual frontier is already impacting the way companies attract, assess, interact and hire talent. This will surely invite an exciting realm of innovation and possibility within the virtual workplace and workforce, creating new demands for specialized talent and agility among job seekers.

This is where I’m dedicating the balance of my work with clients and organizations. The majority of my clients have either had their job searches halted midstream or in the midst of being furloughed. These are particularly challenging times for the generation of young people attempting to enter or weather the current job market storm. Many feel stalled and unsure how to move forward.

I'd welcome an opportunity to share how I’m partnering with job seekers to better navigate the uncertainties of the current job market and better prepare for the recovery we all hope and anticipate lies ahead.
